Skye Hallberg
Founder; Director of Strategy, Analysis & Research
Skye has an extensive background in brand management (Procter & Gamble), advertising & branding (Young & Rubicam New York & San Francisco, DDB Worldwide Chicago and BBDO Dallas) and marketing consulting and new product development (San Francisco’s Hallberg Schireson & Co) and the daily marketing grind (CMO at Benziger Family Winery). She has led small new product development groups, global task forces of 200+ people, in-house marketing staff and everything in between.
Today, Skye leads Cogito’s select strategic planning and analysis team. She’s an ardent believer in the importance of clear objectives; thinking before acting; and creative that reflects conclusions drawn from hard data. And she’s happy when you listen to what your customers and non-customers are telling you.
Skye grew up in Europe and on the West Coast, and attended University of London and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The Claremont Colleges (Scripps) in California. She has served on the board of the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Center and the National board of O.W.L.
The only private American citizen to own vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, Skye was inducted into La Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin at Le Château du Clos de Vougeot in 1992. She lives in Sonoma and speaks fluent French and miserable Danish and Swedish.

Ron Woloshun
Founder; Creative Director
Early in his career, Ron fell in with a bad crowd and became addicted to kerning and unusual letterforms; years later, he’s still an unreconstructed type geek at heart.
His experience includes advertising (NEC, ABC Television, Twentieth Century Fox), packaging, web design and identity development, as well as academic publishing (Boston University), business consulting (Andersen LLP, Accenture) and consumer electronics marketing (Roku, Rio Digital Music, ReplayTV, Microsoft). He has also been an editor, a film reviewer, a PowerPoint guru, a corporate educator and a one-man marketing department. Ron believes that good creative always stems from a clearly articulated marketing strategy, and he doesn’t own a single black turtleneck.
Born and raised in California, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Boston University; the New England winters soon drove him back west to San Francisco and the Academy of Art University’s graphic design program.
A sometime photographer, amateur jazz singer and dedicated Ashtanga yogi, Ron speaks French and Italian, maintains an absurdly large iTunes library, and is perfecting a recipe for gluten-free gougères bourgignons at his home in Petaluma.
