Early in his career, Ron fell in with a bad crowd and became addicted to kerning and unusual letterforms; 14 years later, he's still an unreconstructed type geek at heart.

His experience includes advertising, packaging and identity development, as well as academic publishing (Boston University), business consulting (Andersen LLP) and consumer electronics marketing (Rio, ReplayTV, Microsoft). He has also been an editor, a film reviewer, a PowerPoint guru, a one-man marketing department and an educator. Ron believes that good creative always stems from a clearly articulated marketing strategy, and he doesn't own a single black turtleneck.

A California native, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Boston University; the New England winters soon drove him back west to San Francisco and the Academy of Art University's graphic design program.

A semiprofessional photographer, amateur jazz singer and dilettante kickboxer, Ron speaks French and Italian, maintains an absurdly large iTunes library, and is learning how to keep from killing all the lovely plants at his new home in Petaluma, California.

Skye has an extensive background in brand management (Procter & Gamble), advertising & branding (Young & Rubicam New York & San Francisco, DDB Worldwide Chicago and BBDO Dallas) and marketing consulting and new product development (San Francisco’s Hallberg Schireson & Co). She has led small new product development groups, global task forces of 200+ people, and everything in between.

In her role as consulting partner, Skye brings her considerable expertise as a skilled consumer researcher, marketer and strategic thinker to the table on all of Cogito's advertising, marketing and design engagements.
